The first spring we stopped at was Grilcrist Blue. It was beautiful (they all are!) but since it was our first time traveling and mermaiding etc I think everyone was super overwhelmed. It also randomly ended up being more crowded than we thought it would be and then a freak thunderstorm hit halfway through with lightning so we all had to get out of the water for a bit. I made peanut butter sandwiches during the break for everyone. I didn’t get any pictures this day though!
The next day we went to Itchetucknee. It was WAY better. Stunning location, super peaceful and serene and the water is so clear! There’s a little food hut and they had the best burger and fries I’ve had in a long time!

This was by far our favorite spring, so we actually came here twice! I was never crowded no matter how long we stayed!
The next day we went to Ginnie Springs. Ginnie is the largest and most commercial spring we visited. It’s a large area with multiple pools of springs and a river to float down! It can get crazy on the weekends so we tried to plan accordingly. It wasn’t super busy but there were still a few people floating around in inner tubes as they slowly made their way through.
Our airbnb was in the town of High Springs. There’s not much there, but there’s enough to explore between that and a few of the other small towns nearby. We found a few coffee shops so the group as a whole was appeased!

Back to the airbnb to start editing alllll the photos I’ve taken!
Some teaser screenshots of ME!!!!!
