The first thing we did in Guam is pile into one of our trusty rental cars and head out towards the beach to explore!

This was the main beach off the parking area, however Jesse, who had been here before, started hiking up and over the rocks toward a different beach. I didn’t think it could possibly be any better, but why not explore a bit?

A few minutes later we emerged from the trees and made our way down to the most gorgeous beach I’ve ever seen in my life with palm trees, crystal clear water, and soft white sand.

We walked the length of the beach and ended up by large rocks jutting out of the sand and water. The water itself was only 3-4′ deep so we all waded out and swam around. I should have brought my mask and snorkel! The rock on the beach provided ample shade and a place to set our backpacks while we explored.

After a few hours of playing in the water we realized that no one brought lunch and we were hungry and sunburned. (It doesn’t take long when you’re from Washington state…) On our way to locate food, we drove by Two Lovers Point. Interesting spot, but overrun with tourists. They do the “love lock” thing like that bridge in Paris. There are SO MANY locks and little hearts. We didn’t get one. 😉

What an amazing day! I can’t wait to go scuba diving here! Guam is every bit the tropical island paradise.
