We had great wind so we bypassed Georgetown entirely. It’s only been a week or so since we left Florida and we really didn’t need any provisions so we just sailed right on past! After going through the potentially nasty Hog Cay Cut we set anchor and slept so we could get an early start the next morning to take advantage of the good wind to explore a new island: Crooked and Acklins. We sailed all day and arrived in the dark.
The next morning we took the dinghy over to the only other boat in sight to introduce ourselves and we all decided to go exploring on shore. Apparently there are wild flamingos and old settlement ruins, so that’s a must see!
