After the success of yesterday’s assembly and test fit in the truck , today was rather underwhelming.  We did a lot of gluing yesterday which meant that today it was sanding day. I didn’t really take any pictures because by now you know what it looks like. All of the outside edges need the hard edge taken off and all the interior pieces with the triangular gussets need to be ground down and rounded out.  I don’t have fingerprints anymore. I did manage to actually finish all the sanding I wanted to do, so that’s something I guess. Jason went to lowe’s to get supplies and returned only after I was done. That’s a pretty solid logistical move.

We did do one thing noteworthy today.  We glued the main support beam for the cabover onto the shell.  I don’t have long enough toothpicks, (maybe those grilling skewers?) so we had to brace the beam up with whatever was laying around the shed.

Not a lot of photos for hours worth of sanding, but there you are…
