Since the weather has been terrible in Washington for a while now, Jason and I decided to bring our bicycles to Nevada to get some riding in over Christmas break! The parents’ new house sits in the shadow of a gigantic butte… that happens to have a trail to the top and trails all around it.

We rode 6 miles and didn’t really even start to cover the entire thing. It would also be a very cool place to camp and watch the stars for a night. The climb up admittedly kicked our asses since we haven’t been biking in a long time and the trails were mostly very large rocks. Overall, the view was killer but the ride was not fun! At least I got some cool pictures!
