“We’ll never buy street bikes again!” ~Me & Jason

Well that didn’t really work out quite so well! 😉 It’s been a few years since we’ve had legit street legal road-only motorcycles.  The dual sports were quite a lot of fun and all, but I’ve wanted a Ducati for years now… so while I was away for work, Jason just went out and bought me one! Did I mention I have the most wonderful husband ever? (seriously. ever.)

It’s a Ducati Monster 796.  With the sexy single sided swingarm and red painted frame. Delicious. I just bolted the upper shock mount from the smaller 696 version to lower the bike an inch or so. Ironically enough, for the most expensive motorcycle I’ve ever owned, it was the cheapest to lower. 😉  Have a few more little widgets to trick her out currently hurdling through the mail system to my house.

Sometimes I forget how many bikes I’ve had and what all I’ve done with them.  They were all fun in their own way.  A few I miss and a few I don’t, but they were all an experience!
