This was a super productive labor day weekend for the camper project! I finished up the canvas and Jason returned from a work trip to San Diego so he could finally help again!  There were only a few small side projects that we worked on in between installing the canvas.

The seat foam is cut, but the fabric is not. This will take some more time to even start on.
Jason finished up the lift mechanism for the camper since we’ll have to lift it into the truck for the inspection in a few weeks.
I bent some aluminum to make brackets to mount the power inverter
Scraps of orange canvas work well for some padding. The inverter is mounted nice and out of the way. Also, it’s orange!
I made some covers for the cookie/chip cabinet so stuff doesn’t fly out of there.
Velcro holds the corners in place. It’s a lot of orange, but I think they turned out nice.

We really are to the final assembly of a lot of this stuff.  The cooler still needs to go in and the countertop needs to be installed. The canvas is really what’s taking up a lot of our time right now.  Until it’s in, the shell isn’t waterproof so that’s our number one priority!
