Well progress has been pretty slow the past few days.  I took a day off due to allergies because of all of the wildfires and the next day, I worked overtime and Jason was off on a work trip until like 8 at night.  Today, though, it was time to get back at it!

Jason wired up the power to the heater which I didn’t get any photos of. You’ll just have to trust that it’s lovely.  I tried to work my way through some of my to-do list, but it turns out that everything I wanted to do today requires large fender washers instead of the little ones that I have on hand.  Dangit!

First up was the little diesel tank for the heater.  I wanted to mount it midway up the camper, but Jason and I realized that when the camper is in the truck, it’s actually going to be super tall… so we lowered it.  It doesn’t look quite as nice, but it will be a hell of a lot easier to fill… I would have gone ahead and installed it, but the heads of the bolts are smaller than the holes in the tank. Maybe tomorrow!

I guess there’s room for a shovel or something to the right of the tank…

After hitting a brick wall with the tank, I moved back into the galley.  the lower left cabinet is going to have double doors with a divider in the middle to rest on.  I painted that divider the other day, so I went ahead and installed that.  I also made mounting blocks for the door hinges so those got screwed into place as well.

The blocks are actual mahogany… I almost feel bad wasting wood like that…

Still have no idea how to mount my little sink drain tank. I also tried to mount the slide out drawer on the other side, but we need fender washers on the outside edge because that’s just fiberglass.  Looks like we get to run to the hardware store on the way home from work tomorrow.
