Although we already have a ton of things on the camper that we could cover in fiberglass, the name of the game today was to finish up the actual camper shell.  I measured and cut the final piece that went all the way forward on the cabover section.  Then glued it in place with a little help from mom to hold it after I learned that my idea of just propping it up into place with a stick wasn’t going to work.

DONE!
That’s where the bed is going to go!

In addition to the door, we also have 2 windows that we bought that need to be installed. One is a 22″ x 11″ slider with a screen. Super fancy! The other is a hatch from a boat that I got because it opened but was still water tight…and it was the only one i could find that would be small enough to fit where I needed it to go!

Cut line for little window
Cut line for big window. It’ll go above the galley sink!
squares are easier to cut than rounded edges

The final view!

Nothing really major today either.  I feel like I got a lot of work done.  It was an odd day all around. Jason was away for a work thing that went way longer than it should have.  My computer chose today to get upgraded to Windows 10, which means I may be up and running either tomorrow or in 3 weeks… Either way, I fought with computers and desks all day and had had enough.  So I cut out at 2:30 and came home to work on the camper by myself.  Time well spent I think.

I got some pieces cut for the seal that goes around the perimeter of the camper shell. Yesterday Jason went and got supplies for the form he’s going to make so he can make the roof.  I don’t actually know what he’s planning but he’s promised me it will look good!

Looking forward to Friday when I can stay up late without repercussions!
